The Flir E4 on up feature an on-screen center spotmeter for measuring temperatures. With the Flir E4, the user can view thermal, visual, and MSX images and store them simultaneously for further analysis using FLIR Tools software.

A focus-free lens and simple button navigation to on-screen settings, imaging modes, measurement tools, and saved JPEGS make all four of these cameras amazingly easy to operate, even with just the press of a single gloved thumb.

Thanks to it's built in Quick-release feature, the Flir E4's tool-type Li-ion battery is easy to remove, recharge and snap back in. Additionally, the Flir E4 can recharge itself either with the Charge in-camera or with the optional charging station to keep you up and running all day.

What is MSX?
Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) for easier interpretation of an image - adds visible spectrum definition to IR images by detecting the edges of objects and including that detail in the thermal image. Text becomes clearly visible so that you can read a label or identifier within the IR image. This exclusive function provides extraordinary thermal detail that instantly highlights and orients problem locations and eliminates the need to refer back to a visual image for detail.

Brighter than other brands, the FLIR E-Series and FLIR E-Series bx touchscreen provides an intuitive interface that takes full advantage of the entire 3.0" display with no image cropping.
